1:43 can still be used, just put them together near the rear of the layout from where you typically view everything. As long as they are not right next to a 1:48 or 1:50 they will look fine.

Anyone who is going to pay $50 for a vehicle that can't be distinguished from one like it selling for $4 at 10 feet has waaaaay too much money!
