The time change and shorter days have allowed for some funky lighting during atypical hours; above is the Metro-North station at Fairfield, Connecticut, at 2:30, though it looks more like 5:00.
Kawasaki M8 8507 brings up the rear of a New Haven-bound train stopping at the station. These M8s have what sounds almost like an electronic RS3L on them, more pleasing to the ear than typical EMUs.
ACS-64 636 leads a southbound Northeast Regional through the station. Regionals, I believe, stop at both Bridgeport (north) and Stamford (south), explaining the slower speed I observed on the former New Haven.
