And at least a couple seem to have been quite well planned.
For example the Bethgon coal car samples shown at Indy were apparently made in under 8 weeks from sending drawings to the MMW factory. As well I was impressed by the quality of the SD40-2 samples I saw at March Meet, and those were made in about 6 months according to MMW, being the first project from their own team.
I'm happy to see new brass modern-era models coming to market for the future of the hobby, whether or not I can afford them. I hope that having invested in their own operation and staff in Korea will pay off for MMW in terms of speed to market and product quality, leading to a succesful business.
