Thanks Derek! Always appreciate the podcasts! Albiet vague at times, its always nice to here something from the source as opposed to all of the rumors, speculation, and misinformation that tends to gather on the forum.
Sometimes we're very intentional about being vague. Lionel has really gone above and beyond to make their staff available to me for the show. I really respect that, and try not to push too hard for information that I know we can't share yet. If you look closely Lionel has gotten very good at plugging it's "leaks" in the past 18 months. Most of the new catalog items now remain hidden until only days if not hours before the catalogs go up. Lionel wishes to keep it this way and I try and do all I can to respect that.
I fully understand Derek. Some of Mikes answers were vague for obvious reasons.
It still sheds a decent light on the fact when "we're" complaining ( myself included) wondering where our trains are, they're getting made, and in some cases "re-made", and that doesn't happen overnight.
Your podcasts give our narrow hobby, a bit more of a mainstream feel.
