Mike, if you really want get picky, the MTH GP7 should actually be a GP9. According to the Milwaukee Road engine roster listed on thedieselshop.us they did not own any GP7s. At the top of the page on that website is a photo of a GP40 which appears to be close to the same color as your Lionel GP9.
