So, I purchased a nice CB&Q E5 A-A pair 6-14547 that was supposed to be "new, displayed only" and I believe it could be an accurate statement because there are no scuffs or bruises or even signs of having been run. But anyone who has handled any of the trains like this being produced nowadays must realize how easily the detail parts can get knocked off and lost. This can happen even when just trying to take them out of the packaging.
My dilemma is that the rear brake cylinder of this truck was missing when I removed it from the styrofoam box. I have no idea where I can get another. Lionel doesn't list this as a separate part. It's part of the whole truck assy. P&D lists this part with an illustration and # but it's not on their price list. Does anyone know where I can locate one of these? Keep in mind that it's a mirror image of the other one that's on the truck. Thanks for any help you can offer.
