Missing replies to thread

I received an email that someone had replied to a post of mine in the "For Sale or Trade" forum. The reply was from someone who had just joined the forum that day (Oct. 2nd). With no email address indicated, I replied on the thread, and then subsequently added another reply. Now, the original response and my two additional comments no longer show on the particular thread. Any idea as to what happened here?
