You folks need to understand that when it came to dispatching power for a freight train, the Roundhouse Foreman didn't care one whit about whether a loco was an Alco, a GE or an EMD. All he cared about was how much horsepower do I need on this train? Whatever units were first out on the ready track were the ones that got the call.
