Reply to "Modern Western/Central Pennsylvania Layouts"

Thanks, Pittsburghrailfan.   I will check it out!  Hopefully, my post didn't come across that I'm anti-steam.  I just prefer modern diesels.  80% of my collection is modern.   I have a couple of old locomotives that my dad gave me.  It is nice to see them smoke up a room from time to time.

The D.A.R.E. Model Railroad Club in Venetia, Pa, south of Pittsburgh, has a moderately sized O gauge layout that runs using DCS. We are not open regularly, but we do have annual open houses. I can also arrange a special visit if you feel like stopping by. We don't really have a set era on the layout, but we do run modern power. Check out my Youtube channel to see if you want to stop by. Look for the videos with "West Penn" in the title.
