That sounds like a good plan Peter.
Our last rain that amounted to anything was in mid June. My grass is mostly brown, and some of it will need reseeded. We water my wife's plants, but I don't want to use any more water. Some townships have restricted burning. So much for my neighbor's campfires for his grandchildren to roast hotdogs.
