When I lived in Ann Arbor, I used to visit P&D Hobby at least twice a month. That store helped me get deeply involved with modern intermodal trains & 2-rail trains. I liked that the store was open till 8pm on Fridays since it took me almost 2 hours to get there after work. I just started buying from them again after moving to IL 6 years ago & I love their $8 flat rate shipping fee.

I visited Wild Bill’s shop once around 2006 but it seemed to be mostly 3-rail, steam-era, toy trains at that time & I never went back.
