I looked at the Marx CP motors and they have a different type of brush plate. So the collective wisdom of an AET-3085 is the favorite, unless Commodore V's were made without reversing levers, in which case Dieseler becomes the front runner.

Only the earliest CV's had the reverse lever, so most did not.
