MOW equipment spotted in Memphis today

While leaving the Casey Jones Modular layout today I spotted this assortment of MOW equipment on an industrial siding.

I would be great to see this equipment in action. Can someone explain the purpose of some of these machines? The only one with an obvious purpose is the machines with the cross ties on the trailer attached to it .
