If there is a sound file (.mth) posted, you can download the sound file to your computer, and use Mark DiVecchio's ADCPM program to listen to (and change!) the sounds.

That's a great program. I've used it to modify most of the sound files in my MTH locomotives (changes to correct whistle/bell sounds and add crossing signal sounds).
