Stan, thanks again. What is the "audio-editor". My 3D friend suggested using the Arduino to pulse (long pulses) the volume button when the module is powered to lower the volume. However I like the "series" resistor approach. I cannot believe I was an engineer (I guess that's what happens when you're not in the design end--not an excuse).
