Ryan, thank you for your comments. Everything you wrote makes good business sense to me. I think the 2-8-0 is one of the best bargains Lionel has offered in a long time. I’ve replied to Steve on two occasions for a less popular railroad that didn’t make the 25 cut. I get it. If I want one, I should buy one that is offered by Lionel and maybe after the warranty is over get a highly skilled painter to customize it for my favorite prototype.
