MTH 2017 vol 1 catalog mailed separately from tinplate catalog?

I just received the MTH 2016 Lionel Corp. tinplate catalog in the mail. I was surprised that the MTH 2017 vol 1 O-gauge catalog wasn't with it.

Are these catalogs being mailed separately or was this a mistake in the mailing sent to me?
