Reply to "mth Articulated Tinplate Steam"

Somewhere around 11-12 years ago at York I saw a Standard Gauge articulated locomotive that appeared to have been make by stretching a 400E boiler and adding a second Bild-a-Loco motor. It was a beautiful job, looked like factory. I believe it was a 4-4-4-4 but I cannot be 100% sure as I was not into Standard Gauge at that time. I think that might be more interesting as a production item than the never-built MTH loco described in the original post. I wouldn't mind having a go at building one myself, but I don't really think my skills are up to it. I might well be a buyer if MTH ever decided to build such a thing.
