MTH crossing gate wiring problem

I have two parallel tracks with isolated outside rails. I have two double track signal bridges wired to a Three-Rail 2 Relay controller that works fine. I am trying to wire a crossing gate to be activated by either isolated rail. I can't jumper the two rails because it turns both signals red from one track. I can't jumper the two relays for the gate because one relay is holding it open when the other tries to activate it. Is there a way to use either isolated rail to activate the same or two different relays and still not interfere with the signal bridges?
