I think you have the wrong person, or you have it out of context. So not sure why you are trying to pick a fight. Too much idle time? I certainly would say there is not much benefit for a 3 Railer running DCS to convert a PS-2 to PS-3 just because.

I have always pointed out the advantages of PS-3 for 2 rail and DC and DCC operations. G
