MTH DCS WI-FI

I recently purchased a MTH DCS system with WI-FI which I use the MTH app on my I -phone. I operate MTH engines with this system. Z-4000 transformer. At times, the speed of the engines will go to maximum and I lose control of the app on my phone hence unable to stop the engine (s). After I shut down my transfomer and reset everything; problem is solved until the next time. Does not happen frequently. Has anyone encountered this situation?
