@EscapeRocks the devices definitely were staying with my home network. That network has both 2.4g and 5g with the same network name, so I will need to do some monitoring on the router to see which frequency of the network they are on when the issue occurs.
On the plus side, when I switch to the MTH adhoc network, I *can* run both without issue. That made for a very nice experience! (although not desirable long term, to have to keep switching the devices to/from networks).
