I know this thread is kind of old, but has anyone tried lengthening the shed, so that a Big Boy or the PRR T-1 would fit in it? I'd love to have a shed to park my BB in so that I could store it on my small layout.

You could likely use a second engine house to extend the first by whatever length you choose, up to double length (with a little kit-bashing!). Or I believe the old IHC-Atlas two stall engine house is around 28" long, which would be too short for a scale BB, but would likely fit a Lionmaster BB.
