MTH LED passenger car lighting

Does anyone know if the new MTH LED premier heavyweight passenger car lighting system can be retrofitted to prior MTH premier heavyweight passenger cars with incandescent lighting? I assume that the new MTH LED lights would be available as a separate sale item. I have had issues with the car roofs getting excessively warm.
