I have the first Proto 2 set with the extra "Halley" car, but passed over the baggage car. My set still runs great, has a great whistle, and still has the original battery! :-) And the paint finish on my nickel finish set is perfect - no chips or blemishes! I purchased the LCT "Barnard" coach but it had several chipped paint spots, so I did not keep it! :-(
