You said it. They were cobbled together by GE. They were awful engines to run. They rocked back and forth constantly. The always had an odd smell too, lol, something to do with the PCB oils that leaked out of the transformers.

I also ran the GE u34ch diesels. They were much better and I enjoyed those engines...
