That's because there's really just ONE Chinese factory that makes all these toy trains. And whenever the importers visit China, the factory just flies a different flag outside to welcome said executives!!!

Actually, that wasn’t far from the truth back in the days of the Sanda Kan factory. Lionel, Atlas, K-Line and an estimated 50 other model train companies globally did business with the factory prior to 2010. That changed when Kader, Bachmann’s parent company, bought Kader in November 2008 and sent companies scrambling to find manufacturing partners elsewhere in China less than two years later. They remain scattered today.
