I recently took this engine out of storage where it has been since I purchased it new. It was never out of the box till now. After a complete going over and re-lubing, I noticed there is no battery in the tender. The unit only has a whistle no sounds at all just a whistle.

Apparently there is provision for adding a board for sound of some kind. The book says a PS-1 board. I don't care how primitive this may be if its what should be in there I'd like to add one. However, I don't know if this is possible or even if this is available anymore due to the age of this engine.

The engine runs like a dream. Although I am fine with it as it is it would be nice for such a modern engine to have some sound. Thanks! - AL
