MTH Rail King Pennsy S-2 Turbine Engine

Hello. I have a MTH 30-1149-1and it stopped running tonight. Ran fine a few weeks ago, Ran one loop tonight. I replaced the battery with a BCR a few years ago. The tender powers up and the sound is low and muffled. Than the red light on the Z4000 comes on and the engine dies. I took the cover off the tender and it looked like one connector of the BCR was partially on, I secured the connector and no change. Any suggestions? You fixed my Climax a few years ago. Thanks. Ed
