Okay, the tech at Original Whistle Stop determined the problem. I was already aware that O-Scale MTH locomotives used a lot of power, but I was unaware how much power a 1/32 loco requires. His 24v transformer put out more voltage & amperage than my DCC equipment. 18v and 1-2 amps just couldn’t cut it……the loco literally leaped forward on his test track.
