MTH RailKing Gear Availability

Have a MTH RailKing Steam Locomotive 2-6-0 manufactured around 1996 (Part 30-1136-0) with a worn out gear (Part EG-0000002). I've contacted MTH directly. The part is no longer available from them. Does anyone else have a source for this gear?
