Hi Rusty,
You are correct the 35-20020-1 is missing in action and is still in the hands of the China. MTH is publishing the expected delivery date now is April 2017. Good Luck for its delivery in April.

Had a message on my answering machine from my LHS.
MTH confirmed that the 35-20020-1's do exist, confirmed my LHS order and is now expected in MAY! 
...
So, 4 years and now an extra 4 months after pre-ordering in 2013 to complete my consist. I know things can get strange in dealing with China, but really. I'm half surprised they didn't ship them one unit at a time. Next they'll be telling us the F3's didn't sell well enough to expand the line.
They gave no reason for the delay, all I know is screwing up a one car funeral keeps popping into my mind.
I need a hobby. I hear stamp collecting is nice...
