If something like a sleeve on the eccentric, MTH would probably just send you the part so you can change it if you want. IF your saying something separated out of the chassis gear box, I would send that back. G

The gear box bearings do have bearings with races. I am not sure how you were able to see it from the bottom of the locomotive.
