If your bearing failure is like the one in the picture at the top of this thread, the repair can be completed with minimal tools. The dog bone coupler is pressed on the worm shaft. Place the entire shaft in a pair of needle nose pliers, or similar. Drive the shaft off the coupler. Replace your bearing. Take note of any spacer(s) on the shaft trapped behind the bearing. Make sure it’s put back before tapping the coupler back on. Put a drop of loctite shaft locker on the coupler in the hole for the shaft..knock the coupler on the shaft with something wooden or hard plastic....one other thing, before you pull the coupler off, take a look at how far/deep the coupler is pressed on...make note of that depth for installation....746C90F5-02EB-4E63-AF06-9F3F1DEDCED8
