Well, the Hudson has a 1.5V reverse lamp output on the board set, you can use that with a 1.5V bulb. In order to use motor voltage for LED's, you'll want a 470 ohm resistor and a diode for reverse voltage protection connected across the drive motor feed lines.

Thanks John. I'm very inexperienced with electronics, would you be able to provide a sketch of installing the resistor and diode? Sorry to be a pest.
