Rob a couple of questions. Remind me whether you need TVS diodes in only one lead or both the common and positive lines please? I have assumed one lead was sufficient.

Would you also recommend a modern electronic circuit breaker in the line to the track for a postwar transformer such as a 1033 or KW/ZW operating modern (say 1995-present) MTH (or Lionel) locomotive electronics?
