@GGG, @Alan Mancus Reaching out to Alan and GGG who seem to have been into the Z4000 in past threads. Maybe they have an idea of what the issue might be - could it be as simple as pulling it apart and cleaning or replacing a wiper on the coil? Perhaps the gear alignment on the small potentiometer in shipping half way around the world?
