I do want to avoid spending $$ for fabricators. There would reach a point where it would be better to buy one of the Ross or Millhouse TTs complete. I haven't seen any recent ads from Diamond Scale, so wonder if they are in business.
No question that the Bowser doesn't compare to the current TTs in quality. It was an economical design when nothing else was available, 20+ years ago.
