It is disappointing news for the hobby but is not a significant issue in the bigger picture. If this is the only worry you have, consider yourself very fortunate. As to the answers to your questions, they have already been beaten to death in other threads but the short version is no one knows. My sense, given the volume of MTH product out there, is that solutions will emerge but time will tell. Anyone saying more than that is dressing up guesswork or their personal preferences as analysis.
