Reply to "My Impression of the Lionel Tinplate remakes by MTH"

Gentlemen,

It's not the Tin Plate Trains, it's the wrong track and switches, if you want to run Tin Plate, use the correct track & switches for it, run Lionel Conventional Tubular with the 072/711 Lionel switches or FasTrack with the FT Switches. I run all my Tin plate Trains, original and MTH Repro all the time and never have any trouble with my couplers or derailing.  I do not recommend Ross or GG track & switches for Tin Plate.  If you want to run Tin Plate on modern low voltage Track & Switches run (RMT) K-Line Super Snap Track & Switches or FasTrack & FT CC Switches, all your Lionel type Tin Plate will run like glass on them.

Tim if he picked up that 269E Christmas set for $200.00 please tell me where I can call to purchase one, that is a steal of a deal!
