Dan, your layout is ideal to entertain children, girls as well as boys, with all of your operating accessories that you have running so well.

My recollection is that you may still have at least one child at home. If your child enjoys the trains and accessories, you might consider having him invite his friends over. Or, if you do not have a child at home, you can invite families with children to your house to see your layout, and press the buttons that activate the accessories.

I have several of the accessories that you have, but some of mine need a little tuning to make them work better. You have inspired me to do that.

No children at home, but daughter #2 still has her stuff stored in the attic over our garage.  While I'm still young, 70, I hope that she and her boyfriend speed up the process of engagement, marriage and most of all, a house to put her stuff in.....LOL  Then I will finally build my dream post-war layout.

And let's hope you, Dan, have grandchildren who will have the greatest time with you running the trains.

At the moment we have three.  They have some interest in my trains, both the garden railway and my Lionel layout.  Time will tell if they pick the hobby up as they get older.
