Hope your health has stabilized. I am a diabetic too. Gone blind in one eye due to diabetic retinopathy (make soldering a challenge) and am on a kidney transplant waiting list (3 years into an average 3 year wait). If I'm lucky, relatively speaking, I'll get a two-for-one deal and get a pancreas with the kidney.
