Hello everyone! i was asked in another thread to post some pictures of my new 5 x10 layout. I didn't want to hi-jack someone else's thread so i thought I would start a new one. The layout is actually slightly longer and wider than 5x 10. I did this but allowing some overhang with the layer of homosote on top of the 3/4 inch birch wood plywood layer. The support structure is Mainne, which I highly recommend.
The two separate loops consist of aa simple O-48 outer loop with a more complex O-36 Figure eight with a closed off oval and a passing siding on one side. The inner loop also has three short dead end sidings. Accessories include several Prewar buildings, the stamped metal Lionel factory, the second versions of Lionel's haunted house and Lionel Nuclear Reactor. The layout also includes a UFO over head, aliens capturing a moose and a hunter stalked by Bigfoot. Enjoy!
