There was a class of L3’s built for the B&A ....( 1906 ) when the B&A received the D1a’s, the L3’s were out shopped and rebuilt into class D2a......they remained on the B&A until it dieselized.....some went to central for odd jobs. They started seeing the scrapper’s torch in 52 .....
