BTO: Frankly, the mfg'ers don't care how it inconveniences the end user or the hobby shops. If BTO helps them make product at a profit, then that's what they'll do, and "oh well" in regards to any collateral damage.

I'm not taking up for the mfg'ers, simply stating the cold efficiency of their reasoning behind BTO.
