So sorry to hear this, my old friend. My wife and I are praying for Josephine and you. Are you still living up there near Jacksonville? UF’s medical center in Gainesville and FSU’s medical center over in Tallahassee have pretty good university treatment centers specializing in eye care. These shouldn’t be too far from you. However, UM’s Bascom Palmer Eye institute is top ranked and one of the best in the country. If you’re willing to venture back down to Miami, this is the best place in the State to pursue further treatment options. If out of State travel isn’t an issue, the New York eye institute and the Wilmer Eye institute at Johns Hopkins are the best. Keep us posted and we’ll be sure to keep your wife and you in our prayers.
