There was a thread a few months back about this set being cancelled. I called Lionel directly and they informed me that only back orders were canceled - in other words each store would get it's original allotment fulfilled.

A friend of mine was able to order one from Charles Ro only a few weeks ago so why not give it a shot.

I only wish Lionel would do add
