Dale: Perhaps my assessment of these modules is wrong. They're not generic, they're prolific. Having looked through them once again, there seem to be many different versions - some with instructions and some without and in many different configurations. Sorry if you were misled. Not all delay relay modules are created equal.

Among this endless variety of inexpensive modules from Asia, I don't think the one that you purchased is programmable in the way that my previous descriptions have outlined. So just forget that one and get one that includes some sort of explanation as to how it can be programmed. If there are no instructions, don't buy it.

The one that you have your sights set on certainly does have instructions; and 3 buttons. I have difficulty deciphering the Asia-English dialect used with some of these products. But they're so inexpensive! This one just might work the way that you intend. That would be great! Good luck!
