Need help on opening up a Lionel Heavyweight passenger car

Is there a trick to opening up the Lionel Heavyweight passenger cars? I have 35 cars that need their window tinting changed... Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated on swapping this tint out! As I guess I will be an expert at it soon.
