Reply to "Need Help with ERR Hotbox Reefer Kit Installation"

It looks like my hotbox reefer mini-commander problem was caused by me inserting the reprogramming jumper connector into the wrong pins on the mini-commander board. I mistakenly thought that the marked PCB P1 component location closest to the green power terminal was pin 1 when in fact pins 1 and 2 where the last two pins with the white rectangular base on the board. Thanks GRJ for pointing this out to me. By so doing, I was informed by Ken at ERR that I would have to send the board back for reprogramming as the LC-1 LED port should power up immediately when track power is first applied but unfortunately, my board was not powering up at all thereby necessitating a board reprogramming. In addition, Ken e-mailed me a two page min-commander installation guide that identifies all the mini-commander port locations and output values. If only I would have had this information sooner, I could have avoided this whole mess. Thanks again to everyone who tried to assist me with resolving this issue. This forum is truly a gem to be treasured for our hobby.
